How it works

1. Choose a ready made wheel, or type your own options, one per line. Up to 20 fit.
2. Press Spin the wheel.
3. When it stops, the option under the pointer wins. To draw names or tasks one by one without repeats, use Remove it and spin again.

Your last list stays in this browser, so it's still there next time. Nothing gets sent anywhere.

Is it fair?

Yes. The winner is drawn first, with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and every option has the same chance: 1 in 8 on an eight slice wheel, 1 in 2 on yes or no.

Only then does the wheel turn, and it lands somewhere inside the winning slice. How long it spins, where it starts and what came up last time make no difference at all.

What to eat?

Pizza, burger, sushi, ice cream, pasta, salad, tacos and wraps. Delete anything nobody wants tonight before you spin, so the wheel can't pick it. Spin this wheel

A plain 50/50. Here's a tip that works more often than you'd think: if the answer leaves you a bit disappointed, you already knew what you wanted. Try the yes or no wheel

Who goes first?

It starts with four players. Type real names instead of Player 1 to Player 4, and add or remove lines to match your group. Load the player wheel

Which chore?

Dishes, laundry, cleaning, trash, cooking and groceries. For a fair week, spin once per person and remove each chore once it's picked. Use the chore wheel

What to watch?

A movie, a comedy, action, drama, a documentary, animation, romance or a series. Spin for the genre, then argue about the title. Open the movie wheel

Questions

How many options can I add?

Up to 20. Extra lines are ignored, so every slice stays big enough to read.

Can the same option win twice in a row?

Yes, just like a coin can land heads twice. Every spin is independent. If you don't want repeats, use Remove it and spin again.

Is there an app?

Yes. Decision Wheel for Android has these ten wheels. It also lets you save your own wheels with an icon for each option, keeps a history of every spin, and works offline.
