How it plays

The flood starts in the top left corner. Tap a color and the flood takes it on, pulling in every touching tile of that color. Keep going until the whole board is one color, inside the move limit. Finish in fewer moves and you'll earn up to three stars.

Nobody likes an impossible level, so every board gets checked by a solver before you see it. The move limit comes from the solver's result. That means it's always reachable.

What's in the game

Levels that grow with you

You start on small 8x8 boards with fewer colors and work up to big 22x22 floods. A short tutorial shows the idea in a few seconds.

Daily board

One daily color flood, the same board for everyone. Solve it each day to keep your streak.

Quick play

Choose the board size and the number of colors, and a fresh board's ready right away.

Easy on the eyes

There's a light theme and a dark theme that follows your phone. Every color also has its own symbol, so the game works for colorblind players, and Settings has a high contrast palette as well.

A small strategy tip

Early on, pick the color that pulls in the most tiles. Later, think a move ahead. A color that adds only a few tiles now can open a path deep into the board. Try to reach the far corner early, because tiles you can reach from many sides are easy to pick up at the end.

Questions

Is Flood It free?

Yes, it's free to download and supported by ads. A hint shows the best next color, and three extra moves can save a board. Both cost a short optional video, and if no video is available you still get them. A full screen ad may show up after some finished boards, never while you play. One purchase removes the ads between boards.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Every board works without a connection, and there's no account or sign in.

Can colorblind players play it?

Yes. Every color has its own symbol, on the tiles and on the color buttons, and there's a high contrast palette too.

Which languages does it support?

Flood It is available in 15 languages.
