How it plays

The court is a floodlit street court at night, and one thumb is all you need. Flick up, and the speed and angle of your flick decide the shot. Too soft falls short, too hard bangs off the board, and a good, relaxed flick drops through the net.

The flick is measured against the height of the screen, so the same flick feels the same on a small phone and a big one.

How a round works

  • The clock starts on your first shot, so you don't have to rush the first one.
  • Shoot as fast as you like. Up to four balls can be in the air at once.
  • A ball that's still in the air at the buzzer still counts.
  • A swish scores 3. A ball that touches the rim or the board on the way in scores 2.
  • Swishes in a row build your streak.

What's in the game

The 60 second challenge

One minute, as many baskets as you can. Your best score is saved on your phone, and when you beat it, the result screen says so.

Practice with no clock

Practice mode drops the timer, so you can find your flick before the clock starts counting.

Your numbers after every round

Each round ends with your shots, your makes, your swishes and your longest streak. You can share your score from there too.

Settings you can change

Sound and vibration can both be turned off, and there's a reduce motion option.

Questions

Is Swish Shot free?

Yes. Your first rounds are ad free. After that, a small banner shows only on the home and settings screens, never while you play. A full screen ad can show now and then when you tap Play again or Home after a finished round, never in the middle of a shot. A one time purchase removes the ads, and you can restore it later.

Are there coins or energy bars?

No. There are no coins and no energy bars. It's just you, the ball and the hoop.

Does it need the internet?

No. It works offline.
